The estimated strength of the regiment is derived from dividing the strength of its parent brigade
(Page's) on April 30th, 1864 and dividing it by the number of regiments.  The 30th Louisiana
and 1st Alabama were then attached to Quarles Brigade when it transfered north to join the
Army of Tennessee.
