Preston’s plan of attack is to have Kelly’s Brigade attack Hill Three from the south while Trigg’s Brigade surrounds the hill from the west and north, capturing any Federals still on the hill.  The 58^th North Carolina moves toward Hill Three while Trigg’s Brigade begins working its way around the base of the hill.
