J. Beatty’s brigade deploys and moves up to support the division’s batteries.  This frees up the 37^th Indiana to move forward and rejoin the rest of Sirwell’s brigade.  The other two brigades of the division continue to push Clayton and Bate back to the Lafayette Road.
