After more than three hours of combat, Hazen’s brigade leaves Brock Field and marches toward the Poe house to resupply.

            Brown’s brigade charges Van Cleve’s line.  At the same time, Fulton maneuvers around the divisions flank.  The regiments of S. Beatty and Dick’s brigades break and run.  Bate’s brigade moves up to continue the attack.
