Having recovered from the morning attack, Liddell’s division is sent north to protect Cheatham’s right flank.  They arrive north of the Youngblood farm, form into line, and advance west.   Cheatham’s division is still reforming east of the Winfrey home.

            Baldwin recovers the guns of Battery A, 1^st Michigan and sends them to the rear.  Dodge continues his advance towards Cheatham’s unprepared division.
