Brown keeps up the pressure on Van Cleve and forces the frontline regiments of the two Union brigades back into their supporting regiments, forming one jumbled line.  The two regiments of Gregg’s brigade attached to Fulton work their way around the open right flank of E. King’s brigade and charge.  E. King’s brigade breaks and runs.
